The dining room at Assyl is a feast for the eyes. Jacques Garcia has succeeded in recreating the atmosphere of an Ottoman palace. Embroidery, gold-leaf illumination, carved wood, moucharabieh: all these decorative elements have been created by the finest Moroccan craftsmen in keeping with ancestral traditions. The choice of fabrics and carpets harmonizes perfectly with the décor, which is enhanced by Ottoman pieces from the owners’ private collection.
