Nestled in a former princely residence in the Dar El Bacha district, transformed into a fresh, luminous oasis, Les Jardins du Lotus is a true haven of peace, offering a superb setting where Moroccan craftsmanship and contemporary touches blend to perfection. Gold-leafed walls, copper chandeliers, bay windows, wrought iron, black and white marble, a pool, cacti: in a décor tinged with pink, you sit comfortably in the shade of orange trees to discover the menu.
In terms of cuisine, Les Jardins du Lotus offers a multitude of dishes as tasty as they are colorful, concocted by the (talented) and ravishing Mexican-Québécoise chef, Clarisse Jolicœur. Time to indulge. Lobster Green Salad with citrus poached lobster, Quesadillas with cheese and sautéed wild mushrooms, Florentine with smoked salmon and dill hollandaise with spinach, Bénédicte with truffles and Panko with cabbage and Pico de Gallo with mango… Accompanied by detox juices with beet or kiwi cucumber, this healthy, gourmet cuisine is a delight. Let’s move on to the desserts, and I might as well tell you right now, we’ve enjoyed ourselves! Chocolate sphere melting under creamy custard, deconstructed lemon tart, mint tea panna cotta and fekkas crumble, “very licked” Mexican coconut cake and pink and pomegranate pavlova. Light, tasty and creamy, we enjoyed it.
The wine list is sure to please every palate, and every customer will be able to find a wine to his or her liking. More often than not, you’ll come back here for a delicious mint tea. A professional staff awaits customers all year round. If you want to enjoy a huge service, you should go to this place. Delicious dishes at affordable prices are offered here. In this restaurant, visitors can enjoy a comfortable atmosphere and beautiful decor. The Frommer’s guide has awarded Les Jardins Du Lotus 2 stars, which means it comes highly recommended.
